3a. Information You Provide at Checkout

When you purchase through Stripe we collect:

  • Your name or preferred name
  • Your email address
  • Your payment information — this is processed and stored securely by Stripe, not by us. We never see, store, or have access to your full card details
  • Any responses you provide to optional checkout questions (support area, referral source, notes to companion)
  • Your IP address and general location — collected automatically by Stripe for fraud prevention

3b. Information You Provide in Email Correspondence

When you write to your companion you share whatever you choose to share. This may include deeply personal information about your life, relationships, health, mental wellbeing, and experiences.

This information:

  • Is received and stored in our ProtonMail inbox
  • Is read only by your companion
  • Is never transferred to any other system, person, or platform
  • Is never used for any purpose other than responding to you

3c. Information Collected Automatically

Our website may collect standard analytics data including:

  • Pages visited
  • Time spent on pages
  • Device type and browser
  • General geographic location (country or region level — not precise location)

This data is aggregate and anonymous. It is used only to understand how the website is used and improve it. It is never linked to your personal identity or your correspondence.

3d. Information Collected by Stripe

Stripe collects and processes payment information independently under their own Privacy Policy. We recommend reading Stripe’s Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy. Information held by Stripe includes your payment method details, billing history, and transaction records.

4. What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

  • Your precise location
  • Your phone number unless you voluntarily provide it
  • Any biometric data
  • Any data from your social media profiles
  • Any information about you from third-party sources

5. How We Use Your Information

6. Who Has Access to Your Information

Your companion: reads your emails and the information you provided at checkout. No one else.

Stripe: processes and holds your payment information under their own privacy policy and security standards.

No one else. There is no team, no administrator, no supervisor, no third-party service provider with access to your correspondence or personal details.

7. How Your Information Is Stored

Email correspondence is stored in ProtonMail. ProtonMail provides:

  • End-to-end encryption — emails are encrypted in transit and at rest
  • Zero-knowledge architecture — ProtonMail itself cannot read the contents of your emails
  • Swiss-based servers — governed by Swiss privacy law, one of the strongest privacy frameworks in the world, outside US and UK jurisdiction

Payment and customer data is stored by Stripe on their secure servers under industry-standard encryption and PCI DSS compliance.

No correspondence or personal data is stored on any third-party cloud service, CRM, marketing platform, or shared system.

8. How Long We Keep Your Information

Active clients: your information and correspondence are retained for the duration of your relationship with Woman-to-Woman and for a reasonable period afterward in case you return.

Inactive clients: if your subscription has been cancelled or your one-time package has expired and you have not been in contact for 12 months, your correspondence may be archived or deleted at our discretion.

Payment records: Stripe retains payment records as required by financial regulations. We retain records of transactions for tax and legal compliance purposes for a minimum of 7 years.

Deletion requests: you may request deletion of your personal data and correspondence at any time by writing to [email protected].We will action deletion requests within 30 days except where retention is required by law.

9. Cookies

Our website may use essential cookies to function correctly — for example to remember your session or process your checkout.

We do not use:

  • Advertising or tracking cookies
  • Third-party analytics cookies that identify you personally
  • Any cookie that tracks your behaviour across other websites

If you are in California, United States: You have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) including the right to know, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Ever.

13. Data Transfers

Woman-to-Woman is operated by a Wyoming LLC. Your data may be processed in the United States, Switzerland (via ProtonMail), and India (where the service operator is physically located).

Switzerland has among the strongest data protection laws in the world. ProtonMail’s Swiss-based storage means your correspondence benefits from Swiss privacy protections regardless of your location.

All data transfers are conducted with appropriate safeguards in place.

14. The One Exception to Confidentiality

Everything you share with your companion is held in complete confidence with one exception:

If your companion has a genuine, reasonable concern for your immediate safety or the immediate safety of another identifiable person, she reserves the right to take appropriate action. This may include encouraging you in the strongest possible terms to contact emergency services.

This exception exists solely to protect life. It is not a loophole. It will never be used to monitor, report, or disclose your communications for any other reason.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active clients via email before they take effect. The current version is always available on our website and via the link in your Stripe checkout.

The effective date at the top of this document reflects when the current version was last updated.
